In Memoriam: Coach Jim Clayton
Jim Clayton was a retired educator, the founder of Sports City U Basketball Academy, and a nationally recognized basketball coach and mentor. He also served as a Nike Skills Shooting Coach and was a John Maxwell Leadership Certified Speaker. With decades of experience developing athletes and leaders, Jim brought his passion for motivation, discipline, and personal growth to the mic as the original co-host of Shooting It Straight! Sadly, he passed away on September 18, 2025. We continue the show to honor his remarkable life, his enduring impact, and the legacy he built both on and off the court.
