It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news with our listeners. With the recent passing of our co-host and dear friend, Coach Jim Clayton, Shooting It Straight will be placed on hiatus.
Jim was more than just a co-host—he was a mentor, a storyteller, and a source of wisdom, laughter, and encouragement to all who tuned in. His presence behind the microphone brought a unique perspective that made this show what it is, and his absence is deeply felt.
At this time, out of respect for Jim and his family, as well as to give space for reflection, we will be pausing production. We want to thank each of you for your support, your kind words, and for being part of this journey with us.
Jim’s impact on this show, and on the lives of so many, will not be forgotten.
